New School – “Very Fashionable”

The place and time of the public exhibition will be announced on www.clack-blog.de

In a workshop by Jörg Reich, in cooperation with Prof.’ in Mareike Foecking, the students of the Hochschule Düsseldorf / Peter Behrens School of Arts concentrate on staging in the genre of fashion photography. The daily depiction of fashionable, self-staging in social networks is contrasted with elaborately conceived and elaborate fashion photography. The technical possibilities of studio photography and light are central to this process, because these means in fashion photography produce contemporary accents and illusions, set visual photographic trends and create modern pictorial moods. A further focus was put on the search for exciting locations and unusual locations for the creation of serial fashion photography.

In both of them, the photographers have always worked in teams, with make-up artists and stylists, and in this way, imaginative, surprising, sensitive and above all modern, impressive fashion lines have emerged that take us into strange or familiar, yet newly interpreted imagery. On the Clack Blog you can follow how the exhibition is created and where it will take place in the Düsseldorf city centre.
